Almedin Hota

Almedin Hota ( born July 22, 1976 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian - Herzegovinian footballer.

Career

The Bosnians began his career at FK Željezničar Sarajevo, the most important club in his hometown. His next club was NK Olimpik. About NK Bosna then it went to FK Sarajevo. 2000, the striker his first foreign stop true and moved to FC Kärnten. After several mediocre seasons at FC Kärnten he managed with the Klagenfurtern in the 2000 /01 season promotion to the Austrian Football Bundesliga and won, surprisingly, also the OFB ( 2-1 after extra time against champions FC Tirol Innsbruck ) and the Supercup (10: 9 on penalties against FC Tirol Innsbruck). In the summer of 2006 Almedin Hota moved free transfer to LASK Linz. In September 2008 it was announced that the Bosnians has signed for FC Trenkwalder Admira Wacker Mödling, but his contract was canceled after just over a year on 9 October 2009.

Hota played 14 times in the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
