Almoloya de Alquisiras is a municipality in the Mexican state of México. The seat of the municipality and the largest town is the same Almoloya de Alquisiras, the larger town in the municipality of San Andrés is Tepetitlán. The community had in 2010 14.856 inhabitants, its surface area is 183.2 km ².

Geography

Almoloya de Alquisiras located in the southwest of the State of Mexico, about 50 km southwest of Toluca de Lerdo.

The municipality borders the Municipalities Coatepec Harinas, Texcaltitlán, Zacualpan and Sultepec.
