Almonte, Spain

Almonte is a Spanish city in the province of Huelva, in the autonomous region of Andalusia. On 1 January 2013 there lived 22,964 inhabitants. The city has an area of 861 km ² and a population density of 27 inhabitants. / Km ². The place is remote from the provincial capital, Huelva 75 m above sea level and 55 km.

The municipal area includes the pilgrimage of El Rocío, the beach of Matalascañas and a part of the National Park Coto de Doñana.
