Aloeus
Aloeus (Greek Ἀλωεύς ) is a figure in Greek mythology. He is the son of Poseidon and Canace. Together with Iphimedeia, the daughter of his brother Triopas, he was the father of Aloadae ( Ἀλοάδαι ) or Aloiden ( Ἀλοεῖδαι, Latinized Aloïdae, after competing variants only namesake ) Ephialtes and Otos. It should not be confused with the selfsame son of Helios.
