Aloïse Corbaz

Aloïse Corbaz, also called Aloyse or Aloïse ( born June 28, 1886 in Lausanne, † April 5, 1964 in Gimel / Switzerland ), is one of the most important artists of the Art Brut.

She lived from 1918 until her death in psychiatric hospitals, where she developed an extensive work of drawings and texts in colorful crayon on wrapping paper.
