Aloÿs Nizigama

Aloÿs Nizigama ( born June 18, 1966 in Songa, Bururi Province ) is a Burundian long distance runner.

At the World Athletics Championships 1991 in Tokyo, he finished sixth in the 10,000 m. Two years later he was at the World Championships in Stuttgart fifth over 5000 meters and seventh in the 10,000 m.

At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, he finished fourth in Sydney in 2000 and the ninth.

He was ninth in the Stockholm Marathon 2005.

Aloÿs Nizigama remained in the 10,000 m in total 35 races under 28:30 minutes, more often than any other runner (as of December 2009).
