Aloysio de Andrade Faria

Aloysio de Andrade Faria ( born 1921 ) is a Brazilian entrepreneur and banker.

Life

1949 followed his father Clemente de Faria Faria in the management of the Brazilian Banco da Lavouro and formed it in the following decades to Banco Real. In the 1990 he sold his shares in the bank to the Dutch bank ABN AMRO. From the proceeds he founded the company Alfa Group conglomerado to the Banco Alfa belongs. Also, the largest Latin American producer of palm oil, the company Agro Palma and the hotel chain Transamérica include Faria. According to the American Forbes Magazine Faria is one of the richest Brazilians and is listed in The World's Billionaires 2005. Faria is married and has two daughters.
