Alpawand

The Alpawand ( 1671 m) is about 600 m wall height, the highest cliff on the north west side of the Reiteralpe.

It is especially interesting for climbers, the summit itself is an unassuming Laces hump in the extension of the Great Häuselhorns. In the central wall part, there are some classic alpine climbing routes that are rarely climbed. In the left sector since 2002 produced some very rewarding alpine sport climbing routes that became popular quickly. The first and best known of these routes is the Water Symphony.
