Alpengeist

Alps spirit at Busch Gardens Williamsburg ( Williamsburg, Virginia, United States) is a steel roller coaster from the model inverted coaster manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard, opened on 22 March 1997. On the 1167 m long track six inversions are installed: an Immelmann, a 32 m high looping, a Cobra Roll, a Zero-G roll and a corkscrew. The theming describes the Alpine region, wherein the web is supposed to represent itself to a ski lift. Alpine Spirit is currently the tallest and fastest inverted roller coaster with a closed route and traditional chain lift world.
