Alpha Industries is a clothing manufacturer with headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia. The company produces, among others, for the U.S. military. It was founded in Knoxville (Tennessee ) in 1959. It is the legal successor of Dobbs Industries.
Well-known products are the bomber jacket MA -1 Flight Jacket CWU -45 / P and the Field Jacket M-65 (known as Schimanski jacket ).
In Germany the mark of the Alpha Industries GmbH & Co. KG in Neu- Isenburg is marketed.
Although Alpha Industries has no connections to the neo-Nazi scene and explicitly distanced himself from this scene, the brand had one scene in a certain popularity, probably because the logo has a certain similarity with the banned civil insignia of the SA. In the scene, the brand is not more popular, because it is not a German, but a United States trademark and the scene dresses tend to be less noticeable.
The brand has in the recent past - experience a greater popularity - especially in the hip- hop scene. Increasingly, the brand enjoys in groupings of the bike and hard rock scene due to the design, the quality and the possible combinations of alternative clothing popularity.
