Alpha Sagittarii

Alpha Sagittarii ( α Sagittarii / α Sgr ) is a main-sequence star in Sagittarius. Alpha Sagittarii has an apparent magnitude of 3.97 mag and belongs to the spectral type B8. Alpha Sagittarii is 170 light years away and has a surface temperature of about 12,000 Kelvin.

He wears the historical proper names Rukbat al Rami or or Rukbat / Ruchbah of Arab ركبة الرامي, Rukbat al - Rami, " knee of the shooter ."
