Alpharetta is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia, nicknamed "City Of Excellence". It is located in Fulton County and has 37.870 inhabitants.

The first settlers arrived around 1830 to Alpharetta. You put the name of their city from the Greek words "alpha" (First ) and " Retta " (city) together. As sight is considered the historic downtown area today. It is also the birthplace of Riley Puckett, a major American country and hillbilly musicians and guitarists of the 1920s and 1930s.
