Alphen-Chaam

Alphen - Chaam [ ˌ ɑlfəχa ː m] ( listen? / I ) is a municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It consists of the villages Alphen as the seat of the municipal administration and Chaam, each with about 4000 inhabitants. The third largest village of about 950 inhabitants called Galder.

Location and economic

Larger towns nearby are Breda ( the north-western neighbor city), Tilburg ( the northeastern neighbor city) and Turnhout (Belgium ).

In the villages, quite a few commuters who work in Breda or Tilburg live.
