Alphi

The Société Alpi was a French manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

The company based in Paris began in 1928 or 1929 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Alpi, which stood for Automobiles Luart, Poniatowski, Hougardy, engineer. 1931 production ended. A total of four vehicles emerged.

Rolling stock

The first car was a sports car. He had a small six-cylinder engine of CIME 1485 cc and was also used in car races such as the 24 - hour race at Le Mans in 1929.

The second vehicle was a race car with the same engine, but with compressor.

The third vehicle originally had also over the CIME engine, which, however, was later replaced by a six-cylinder engine of the Continental Motors Company 2600 cc. The coupé body had room for four people.

The fourth vehicle had an eight-cylinder in-line engine from Continental with 4800 cc capacity. The body offered two people.

Two cars of this brand still exist.
