Sage from Alplen

"Once was a lad of Alplen on the northern slopes of the mountain range on the Alpler gate until after Bourguillon in the Achen mountains, almost a day's journey away, z'Stubeten. When he returned, the girl gave him two beautiful apples and said he would eat it himself, and then they could give anyone. This he carried up by Alplen and saved them to, and now the boy had three evenings in succession visit the girl until he was dead tired and it disgusted him. At last he threw the apples a ' Pintner ' into the lining. Once the pig had eaten those apples, it stormed off and over the mountains and galloped up to the house of that girl in the Achen mountains and even climbed on the wall up into the chamber of the girl.
