Alpro
The Alpro GmbH, headquartered in Dusseldorf is the German sales office of the European market leader in soy-based foods, the Belgian company Alpro Comm. VA. The company currently has 760 employees in five European countries and a turnover of more than 250 million euros.
Formation
The U.S. dairy group Dean Foods takes over on 17 June 2009 by the Belgian food group Vandemoortele NV soy - Alpro division. Alpro is one of the leading manufacturers of food and beverages, soy-based. Net sales amounted last year to 260 million euros. Alpro has five production sites in Belgium, the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands. Dean Foods is widely used in the North American market with its brand Soy Silk.
