Alps–Mediterranean Euroregion

The euro region Alpi Mediterraneo / Alpes- Méditerranée is a European region, founded on July 10, 2006 between Italy and France to improve cross -border cooperation. For the euro area include the Italian regions of Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta and the French Rhône- Alpes and Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur, with a total of approximately 17 million inhabitants.
