Alpujarra Granadina

The Comarca Alpujarra is one of the 10 Comarcas in the province of Granada. It was, like all Comarcas in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, furnished with effect from 28 March 2003.

Located in the southeast of the province Comarca comprises 25 municipalities with 24,073 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013), or about 2.6% of the province 's population.
