Alta Badia

Alta Badia ( Ladin and Italian for Alta Badia, Alta Badia also ) is a tourist office in the south of Val Badia in the Dolomites (Italy). It includes the majority of Ladin Corvara, Badia and Adelboden.

Alta Badia ski area

The Alta Badia ski area, located 1400-2700 meters above sea level, offers perfect skiing from November to April. It includes 95 tracks. With eleven other ski resorts, it is part of the Dolomiti Superski ski area network.

Skiing World Cup Alta Badia

The Gran Risa is on the territory of the municipality of Badia. The Gran Risa is particularly well known due to the many races of the Alpine Ski World Cup. It is regarded as one of the hardest routes in the Ski World Cup. Since 1990, the World Cup giant slalom race of men on the Gran Risa will be held annually.

The Maratona dles Dolomites is a road Bike Marathon of the Dolomites to Alta Badia, which is organized annually since 1987 on the first Sunday in July.
