Alteidet

Alteidet is a small coastal village on fjord Lille Alta Fjord in the eastern part of the municipality Kvænangen in North Troms in Norway. The village lies on the E6, about 50 km west of the city of Alta and about 10.5 km north of the central location of the community Burfjord. Approximately 130 people live in the area and there is a hotel. The postal address is " 9161 Burfjord ". The place is located 8 meters above the sea.

That was where an old trading post, but was not rebuilt after the Second World War. The village is situated on a wooded isthmus and near the two villages Storeng and Jøkelfjord.
