Altena was a Dutch car and motorcycle brand.

Company History

The Company NV Haarlemsche Automobiel & Motorijwielfabrik from Heemstede began in 1903 with the production of automobiles and motorcycles. 1906 production was stopped.

Rolling stock

The first car model was the 3 ½ HK with a single cylinder engine. Shortly thereafter, the two-cylinder models supplemented 8 HK 10 HK 12 HK and the four-cylinder Model 20 HK offer. The vehicles possessed a hood in the style of De Dion -Bouton.
