Altenhof, Schleswig-Holstein

Altenhof ( Low German: Oldenhave and Olenhoff ) is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. Aschau (Danish: Askov, Low German: Aschow ) Kiekut (Danish: Kikud ) and Mark Fast (Danish: snelmark ) are also within the municipal area as a commodity Altenhof. Geography and transport

History

Archaeological finds evidence of a settlement of the township in the Mesolithic period. From the Neolithic burial mounds have been preserved.

The place was first mentioned in 1410 as Oldenhave ( old farm ). Altenhof was on the field a Mark already mentioned village Celmerstorp 1295.
