Geography

The town is located 300 meters above sea level in the northeastern Palatinate Forest in the valley of Eckbachs. Neighboring municipalities are Wattenheim in the north, Battenberg in the Northeast, way home on the mountain in the east, in the southeast of Bad Durkheim and Carlsberg in the West.

Name
