Alu (Ethiopia)

The aluminum is a 429 -meter-high volcano in northeastern Ethiopia, immediately northwest of the conical volcano Dalaffilla. It was formed mainly from basaltic lava flows that poured from columns. There are several areas with fumarolischer activity. Some large-volume basaltic lava flows extend to Lake Bakili. There is no known outbreak.
