Alvares (river)

The Río Alvares is a river in Spain which flows through the autonomous region of Asturias. It rises in the municipality of Llanera and empties into the Ría de Avilés in the Cantabrian Sea. Major tributaries of the Río l' Escañoriu, the Rio Moriana, the Rio Molleda, the Rio and the Rio Raíces Tabaza and the Rio Villa The river passes through the communities of Avilés, Trasona, Nubledo, Cancienes, Solís and Alvares.
