Alvito, Lazio
Alvito is a municipality in the province of Frosinone in the Lazio region with 2808 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 124 km east of Rome and 43 km east of Frosinone.
Geography
Alvito is situated on a hill overlooking the valley of the Melfa. A large part of its territory belongs to the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. It is a member of the Comunità Montana Valle di Comino.
The neighboring municipalities are Atina, Campoli Apennines, Casalvieri, Gallinaro, Pescasseroli (AQ ), Posta Fibreno, San Donato Val di Comino and Vicalvi.

- The Castello dei Conti di Aquino was built in the 11th century and rebuilt after destruction by an earthquake in 1349.
