Alyona Lanskaya

Alyona Lanskaja ( Belarusian: Алëна Ланская, born September 9, 1985 in Mogilev ) is a Belarusian pop singer.

Life and career

The already excellent at singing competitions singer won by SMS voting the preliminary show to Euro Vision Song Contest 2012 in Baku. With their pop song All My Life she won against four competitors. As, however, protests on the Internet for allegedly bought votes were always numerous, President Alexander Lukashenko, the second-placed group Lite Sound for representatives of Belarus appointed person at the competition.

At the national qualifying round for Euro Euro Festival Song Contest in 2013, she took part again. With the title of Rhythm of Love she was able to win with high scores from judges and audience against nine competitors and represented her country in 2013 in Malmö. After an internal choice of a jury of the state broadcasting station BTRL however, the Latin pop song was selected Solayoh for competition, the ESC in 2013 reached the final with the Lanskaja, finishing in 16th place.
