Alyona Sidko

Alyona Viktorovna Sidko (Russian Алёна Викторовна Сидько; born September 20, 1979 in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia) is a Russian cross-country skier.

Alyona Sidko won at the 2005 World Cup along with Julija Tschepalowa bronze in the team sprint. In the sprint race at the Olympic Winter Games 2006, she also won bronze.

On December 26, 2009 Sidko tested positive for blood doping agent EPO in a competition in Russia. After Sidko renounced the opening of the B sample, it was the end of January 2010, officially closed by the Russian Ski Federation for doping for two years.
