Alypius of Byzantium

Alypius (also: Alympius ) ( † 169) was bishop of Byzantium. The duration of his term is sometimes given as 13 years, but more likely three years. It is usually dated to the years 166-169. Little is known about Alypius. He was succeeded by Pertinax.
