Alyson Dudek

Alyson Dudek ( born July 30, 1990 in Hales Corners ) is an American Shorttrackerin.

She started at the age of seven years with the ice skating. Since 2003 it belongs in the short track speed skating for the national team, in 2004, she also belonged to the national team in speed skating, short track speed skating specialized but later on. In the 2008 /09 season she made her debut in the World Cup. In the same season they reached at the World Championships in Vienna with the season and also won fourth place at the World Team Championships in Heerenveen bronze, although only in the preliminaries came there to use. At the Junior World Championships in Sherbrooke, she was tenth in the all around. In the following World Cup season 2009/10 they reached their first podium in the relay. She qualified as a national champion in the 500 meters for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. About 500 m she was 13, with the season they won the bronze medal. Also at the World Championships in Sofia could win bronze in the relay. Dudek again won the bronze medal at the World Team Championships 2011 in Warsaw. In the season 2011/12 Dudek reached the World Cup over 1000 m their first podium on a single route, it was also the season three times in second. At the World Championships in Shanghai, she reached the semi-finals as the best result over 1500 m.

Dudek studied at the Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee, the end of the studies, she completed via distance learning. She trains most of the time in Salt Lake City.
