Alžbeta Havrančíková

Alžbeta Havrančíková ( born September 27, 1963 in Poprad ) is a Slovak former cross-country skier.

Havrančíková launched in 1984 for the first time in the World Cup. At her first World Cup race in slowakischemŠtrbské Pleso she was tenth on the 5 km distance. Your best results they could win four years later in the 1988/89 season. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti, Finland she missed twice just a medal. Both on the 10 km and 30 km free style they finished fourth. With the Czechoslovak team they finished fifth. Furthermore Havrančíková won this season at the World Cup in Klingenthal on the 30 km freestyle and in La Féclaz about 5 km freestyle. These good results secured her second place in the overall World Cup standings behind Jelena Välbe.

Havrančíková occupied at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1993 in Falun, Sweden with both the Czechoslovak season and over the 30 km freestyle fifth. In the following years, she was unable to achieve these results.

At the Olympic Winter Games Havrančíková occupied with the Czechoslovak Season 1988 seventh place in 1992 to sixth place. In Lillehammer they erlief in 1994 her best individual result at the Olympics. In the 30 km freestyle competition she finished eighth. With the Slovakian Season she was seventh.

Alžbeta Havrančíková ended her playing career after the 1999/2000 season. In their last event she won in the Czech Nove Mesto na Moravě the 56th rank over the 10 km classic.
