The valley of Alzou Rocamadour

The Alzou is a river in France, which runs in the Midi-Pyrénées region in the department of Lot. It rises in the municipality of Marinhac - Lentour and dehydrated general direction west to southwest through the Regional Nature Park of the Causses du Quercy. Below Gramat it reaches the karst area Causse de Gramat and seeps there depending on water flow partially into the ground. He passed the cliff of Rocamadour in the form of a dry valley and empties after a total of 31 kilometers in the municipality of Calès as a right tributary to the Ouysse.
