Amado Guevara

Amado Guevara ( born May 2, 1976 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras ) is a Honduran footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder preferably.

Club career

Before Guevara signed with the MetroStars from New York, he played with teams in Honduras, Spain and Costa Rica. On 11 April 2003, he signed with the New Yorkers and completed most of the games of his career. Overall, ran for the MetroStars 103mal, scoring 32 goals.

In 2006 he left New York after it has been discussions with the club. Guevara has been training with his former club Club Deportivo Motagua, which was allowed, but the club's management of the MetroStars had forbidden him in games aground for the team. He completed a series of friendly matches for his old club.

In 2007 he moved to Los Angeles for CD Chivas USA. He stood there a total of two times on the court and was loaned to Honduras to Club Deportivo Motagua.

Since the 2008 season, FC also plays for the Toronto in Major League Soccer.
