Amajuba is a district within the province of KwaZulu -Natal in South Africa. In 2001 the population was 468 040 over an area of 6909 km ². Seat of the district administration is Newcastle.
Amajuba is the Zulu word meaning " a place of doves" ( a place of peace ).
Around 40 percent of the population are infected with HIV / AIDS. Primarily because the 20 - to 40 -year-old are affected, tackle the age structure of the country apart at the seams. In many cases, families break up and leave the social fringe group of AIDS orphans.
