Amand Theis

Amand Theis ( born November 19, 1949 in Light -Schellenberg ) is a former German football player.

Career

After he was active in the youth for his local club SV Hellenhahn, Theis made ​​in the 1968/69 season his first Bundesliga games as a defender for the 1st FC Nuremberg.

The " Club", which was relegated after this season in the Regionalliga Süd, he remained faithful then another three years until he in 1972 an offer of just to the Bundesliga Ascended Kickers Offenbach accepted. After five years in Offenbach's club, the descent to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1976, brought him Otto Rehhagel to Borussia Dortmund.
