Amanda Barrie
Amanda Barrie ( born 14 September 1935 in Ashton -under- Lyne, Lancashire as Shirley Ann Broadbent ) is a British actress.
Biography
The granddaughter of a theater owner has already played as a young girl small roles in theater performances. During school, she began training at the Cone - Ripman - drama school. After her parents divorced in 1949, she moved to London where she lived for several years at the Theatre Girls in Soho and worked as an extra. In 1958, she performed under the stage name of Amanda Barrie. In April 1961, she finally gave in a production of Babes In The Wood in Findsbury Park Empire made her stage debut in London's West End.
