Amanikhatashan

Amanikhatashan was a Nubian queen who probably reigned in the first or second century AD.

She is the last known person on the Nubian throne, whose proper name was written in Egyptian hieroglyphs. The following kings write only their names in Egyptian throne, while the proper name is written in hieroglyphs merotischen.

It is only known by its pyramid Beg N18 in Meroe. There, her name appears on the south wall of the pyramid chapel.
