Amara Karan

Amara Karan ( born 1984 in London) is a British actress.

Life and career

Karan is the daughter of Tamil- Sri Lankan parents who had emigrated two years before the birth of her daughter from Zambia to England. She grew up in Wimbledon, London, where he attended the all-girls school Wimbledon High School.

After she graduated in Oxford studies in economics and political science and worked after graduation as an investment banker. During her studies at St Catherine 's College at the University of Oxford she appeared in several plays and got first honorable mentions by the critics. In addition, she directed a short film in which she appeared, for which she wrote the book and it produced itself. On a short film competition, the film took second place.
