Amaral (Band)

Amaral is a Spanish pop and rock group that was founded in 1997 by Eva Amaral and Juan Aguirre at Zaragoza. Their music is influenced by Latino rhythm and synthesizer sounds, the lyrics metaphor rich and poetic. The biggest success was the album " Pájaros en la cabeza " ( directly translated Birds in the head or figuratively nonsense in your head), which became the best-selling of 2005 in Spain.

The most popular song of the band 's El universo sobre mí, who finished three weeks # 1 on the Spanish singles charts in March 2005.

On 27 June 2008 Amaral performed at the 46664 concert for Nelson Mandela in London's Hyde Park on. On 3 March 2010 the band played on the Spanish night in the Spanish CeBIT year.
