Amato I Cabinet
The Cabinet Amato I ruled Italy from 28 June 1992 and 28 April 1993. Previously ruled the Cabinet Andreotti VII, after the Cabinet Ciampi. The government of Prime Minister Giuliano Amato was supported by the following parties in Parliament:
- Christian Democracy (DC)
- Partito Socialista Italiano ( PSI)
- Partito Socialista Democratico Italiano ( PSDI )
- Partito Liberal Italiano ( PLI).
The government Amato had to bring under control during the collapse of the old party system an enormous budget deficit with draconian measures. This government is a long -lasting process of reform began in the public administration, the social systems and the field of state investments.
