Amato II Cabinet

The Cabinet Amato II ruled Italy from 25 April 2000 to 11 June 2001. Previously ruled the Cabinet D' Alema II, after the Cabinet Berlusconi II government of Prime Minister Giuliano Amato was supported by the following center-left parties in parliament:

  • Democratici ( Dem)
  • Popolari - Unione Democratici per l'Europa ( UDEUR )
  • Partito dei Comunisti Italiani ( PdCl )
  • Federazione dei Verdi ( FdV )
  • Renewal Italiano ( RI)
  • Socialisti Democratici Italiani (SDI )

The Cabinet Amato II was the last of four center-left governments of the 1996-2001 current XIII. Legislature. After the parliamentary elections of 13 May 2001 and winning Silvio Berlusconi and his party alliance, Amato stepped back with his second cabinet.
