Amato Opera

The Amato Opera was an opera house in East Village, New York City. It was founded in 1948 and directed by Anthony Bell and Sally Amato. It was considered the smallest opera in the world. May 31, 2009 took place the last performance of Le nozze di Figaro. The opera continues today as Bleecker Street Opera Amore Opera by former employees.
