Ambon (Morbihan)

Ambon ( Ambon Breton ) is a commune with 1743 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Morbihan in the Brittany region. It belongs to the community association Communauté de communes Arc Bretagne Sud.

Location

Ambon is located east of the peninsula Rhuys. Neighboring municipalities are: in the west Surzur, in the north - Noyal Muzillac and Lauzach, and in the east Muzillac and Billiers. In the south of Ambon borders the municipality Damgan, but also has its own stretch of coast at the Baie de Kervoyal.

History
