Ambroise Ouédraogo

Ambroise Ouedraogo (born 15 December 1948 in Ouagadougou ) is a Roman Catholic theologian and since 2001 the first bishop of Maradi.

Ouedraogo was ordained in his native city of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso in 1979 as a priest. 1999, he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Niamey and Titular Bishop of Severiana. The episcopal ordination took Francis Cardinal Arinze ago on September 26. To the bishop of the newly established Diocese of Maradi Ambroise Ouedraogo was appointed on 13 March 2001. His motto is: "Everything is grace. " In his capacity as bishop to Ouedraogo is particularly committed to dialogue with Islam.
