Ambroise

Ambroise ( † after 1196) was a Norman Trouvère and chronicler of the Third Crusade.

He took the army Richard the Lionheart 'at the Third Crusade in part and wrote about his experiences until 1195, the Chronicle Estoire de la guerre sainte. Ambroises Chronicle was one of the templates for later wrote Itinerarium Regis Ricardi Peregrinorum et Gesta.
