Ambt Montfort
Ambt Montfort, ( ltd. Amb Mofert ) was a town in the Dutch province of Limburg.
It was created in 1991 by the merger of the previously independent municipalities Montfort, Posterholts and Sint Odiliënberg. Between 1991 and 1994 the town was named Posterholts, after which they bore the name Ambt Montfort. With effect from 1 January 2007, it was incorporated into Roerdalen.
Districts
The community consisted of eight districts. The seat of government was in the district of Sint Odiliënberg. In the eight places 10,984 inhabitants (as of 1 June 2005). They extend over an area of 44.15 km ².
