Ambulance LTD

Ambulance LTD (rarely Ambulance Ltd. ) Is an American indie rock band that was founded in 2000 in New York City's Spanish Harlem.

Michael Di Liberto and founders were David Longstreth. The new band member Marcus Congleton " stole " the band of this two founders, after both had left the band and went on with their name and ideas together with drummer Darren Beckett.

They signed a contract with TVT Records, after they had received positive reviews in their live shows. They took the self-titled EP Ambulance LTD on in 2003.

The music style is a mix of dream pop, indie rock and the British shoegazing movement of the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Their influences are diverse. They go from the Beatles to the Rolling Stones, Spiritualized, My Bloody Valentine to Elliott Smith. Her style is a mixture of different styles. The band once said, "their niche is not sticking to any Particular niche " - their (musical ) niche is not to be found in a special musical corner ( index ) and they do not want to be stuck in a sub-genre of rock or can be set.

In 2004 she released the album simply titled LP, which has earned many positive reviews in the New York area in the United States. A new album entitled " New English EP " was released in March 2006. Benji Lysaght, Matt Dublin and Darren Beckett left the band after this album and formed a new band with the name The Red Romance.
