Ambush

As ambush a military tactic is referred to, in which one party in wait for an enemy from hiding out and fight them. Here, the surprise plays an essential role by camouflage. This combat action is often used when hunting fight on moving enemy as a transport column.

In the Brothers Grimm dictionary puts it, ambush was " the place where a valiant troop holds itself to attack from here the enemy or fall into his back ."
