Amelie Fried

Amelie Fried Ilse ( born September 6, 1958 in Ulm ) is a German television presenter and writer.

Life

Amelie Fried is the daughter of journalist and publisher Kurt Fried and the bookseller Inge Fried Ruthardt. After graduating from high school at the Odenwald School Heppenheim Fried studied from 1976 to 1983 drama, journalism, art history and Italian in Munich, then to 1989 at the University of Television and Film Munich, where she graduated with a diploma in the fields of documentary and television journalism.

In 1984, Fried, moderating shows on TV, first in the youth channel of the Bavarian Broadcasting Live from the Alabama, then live, Star TV (deputizing for Günther Jauch ) and from 1998 to 2009, together with Giovanni di Lorenzo the Radio Bremen Talk Show 3 after 9 from July 2009 to December 2010 she hosted the ZDF together with Mangold Ijoma the literary program the Reader, a successor mission of reading! with Elke Heidenreich. For their moderation, she received the 1988 Bambi Award.

Amelie Fried worked as a book and magazine author. By the end of 2011, she wrote a column for the women's magazine for you. In political magazine Cicero her column "Mrs. Fried wonders ... " appears. After a few children's books published in 1996 her literary debut as a novelist for adults: dream woman with side effects.

Since October 2010, Amelie Fried official patron of children's hospice Bethel. She is married to screenwriter Peter Probst and lives in Bavaria.
