America is the debut album of the same band America, which was published in 1971. The first edition of the album was not a commercial success at first, but they soon after went back into the studio to record the song A Horse with No Name and take to bring out as a single. The end of 1971 it became one of the biggest hits of the band then also the first album went platinum, which had been supplemented by the hit single. With Sandman and I Need You album also contained two more pieces, which enjoy great popularity to this day and are regularly represented in the band's live program.
